Benefit Brow Bar opening–Myer Adelaide

It has finally arrived!  The Benefit Brow bar has arrived at Myer Adelaide.

Regular readers will know how important having beautiful brows are to me.  I have had my fair share of dramas and this one is still very vivid in my memory!

A week or so ago I was lucky to have attend the launch of the Adelaide Brow bar.

Adelaide Benefit Brow Bar

There is no missing the Benefit counter as it is girly and pink amongst a sea of black and white from the other counters.

It doesn’t matter where in the world I have been – the Benefit counters always seem to have a lovely infectious buzz surrounding them.  You can’t help but get caught up in it SmileBenefit collage

No sooner had we arrived and Monnie and Amy were enjoying some pampering from the Benefit team which includes fellow Adelaide Beauty Blogger Kitty, who is the Benefit Counter Manager.

I have heard a lot about the Benefit Brow bar and was really interested to learn the philosophy behind how they achieve the perfect brow.

In the photos below you will see the measurements that are taken before deciding which shape suits.Benefit eyebrows

Everyone’s eyebrows are different, so you will undergo a consultation with your Brow Artist so ensure that you both agree on the best shape for your face.  Once the shape has been decided you have the opportunity to have your eyebrows tinted.

The dye is chosen to best suit your skin and hair colouring and this will generally last 2 to 2 1/2 weeks.

Once the dye has worked the eyebrows are waxed and tweezered to the desired shape.

The total process takes approximately 20 minutes so can easily be achieved in your lunch hour.

All finished

In the photo above, Jess is adding a little extra definition to the tail of Rachel’s brow with some brow powder.

The counter looks fabulous and we had lots of opportunity to play with the products whilst enjoying some beautiful cupcakes.

As part of the event we were gifted some beautiful products including my favourite mascara They’re Real, Benetint, Gimme Brow and a sample of the Porefessional along with a gorgeous makeup bag.

We were also given the opportunity to experience the Brow Bar for ourselves and I will be sharing that with you next week.

Thank you to the amazing Benefit team and I wish you every success in your fabulous new store.

What is your favourite Benefit product?  Have you been to a Brow Bar before?

I think I’ll need to visit their brow bar soon (I assume they’re in other states as well?). The last time I had my brows done the ‘beautician’ went a bit wild and they were a bit uneven. Fixed them up as best I can but I’m a bit traumatised now lol 🙂

Yes the Benefit Brow bars are in most Myer stores around the country Christine. I can 100% relate to your trepidation as I have lost a third of my left eyebrow on at least 3 occasions in the last 3 years. I am happy to report though that my Benefit experience was great. Keep an eye out for the upcoming post 🙂

What a lovely event, wish I could’ve gone! I never do anything to my brows and they really need some definition, but I’m not the best at choosing the right colour for my brows.
You’re right, I passed by Myer the other day and the Benefit counter really stood out because of it’s pink and girly theme.

It was a great event Sheri. Don’t be scared about choosing the right colour as the Benefit Brow Experts can advise the best colour and shape for you. I was seriously impressed with my first try of the Benefit Brow bar. Let me know when you try them out x
