Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Boosting 5-minute facial $99.00

Don’t be put off by this being a two step process – it is not complicated and truly only takes 5 minutes.

Part 1 – Ceramide Self-foaming mask

This is one of the most weird products I have tried – and I have tried A LOT!

You dispense a small golf ball sized amount into your hand and then gently apply it to your dry/uncleansed face.  Once it is applied it turns into a foam that bubbles as it works its magic.  The sensation is quite odd as you can feel a slight tingling as the active ingredients go to work drawing out the impurities whilst the bubbles of foam pop.

After approximately 2 minutes the mask is fully activated and is ready to rinse off with lukewarm water.

Part 2 – Ceramide Replenishing Serum

Once you have rinsed off the self foaming mask and patted dry your skin you apply the Ceramide Replenishing serum onto the skin in circular motions until it absorbs.  You can then follow with your favourite moisturiser.

This 2 part Skin Boosting treatment is best used 2 times a week to help support the skin’s elasticity and minimise the appearance of wrinkles.

REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial $76

I have been told that I am very hard to buy presents for, but when I received the REN Flash rinse 1 minute facial for my birthday this year my girlfriend hit the jackpot.

This is the perfect time saving mask that when used a few times a week leaves my skin looking bright, fresh and awake regardless of how much sleep I have had.

Prior to getting into the shower, apply a small amount onto dry skin and massage with circular movements.  Dampen your fingers with a small amount of water to activate the Vitamin C and wait one minute before rinsing off with warm water.

It really is a quick and easy way to wake your skin up and make you look fresher in the morning and I have definitely seen noticeable results.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm $60

I have mentioned the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm as a makeup primer in a number of favourite posts in the past, but this is not its only use.  When my skin is feeling dehydrated and looks a little lack lustre I apply a thin layer of the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm as a mask and leave it for 10-15 minutes to revitalise my skin.  It is easy to see why it is a favourite amongst makeup artists when faced with models sporting dry and dehydrated skin as it absorbs easily into the skin and leaves the skin looking dewy, plump and revitalised.

Taking a few extra minutes a day to add a mask or treatment into your skincare routine can definitely make a difference to the look and feel of your skin and I believe that when your skin looks fabulous you feel much more confident.

Having a beautiful smooth canvas helps your makeup look more fresh and flawless and who doesn’t want that?
